En effet, m\u00eame si votre chien a besoin de sa dose quotidienne d\u2019activit\u00e9 physique, si temp\u00eate il y a, il est conseill\u00e9 de trouver une alternative pouvant d\u00e9penser l\u2019\u00e9nergie de votre animal sans avoir \u00e0 l\u2019exposer au froid et aux intemp\u00e9ries ext\u00e9rieures. De plus, il est important de consid\u00e9rer l\u2019\u00e2ge de votre animal lors des sorties en hiver : les jeunes et vieux animaux ont une moins bonne tol\u00e9rance au froid que les \u00ab jeunes adultes \u00bb. Finalement, un animal qui est moins bien nourri aura \u00e9galement une moins bonne r\u00e9sistance au froid.<\/li><li><h5><strong>Faire attention aux engelures\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>Les oreilles, la queue et les coussinets sont des parties plus \u00e0 risque d\u2019engelures en hiver. Il est donc primordial de s\u2019assurer que ces parties sont au sec le plus possible lors des sorties ext\u00e9rieures. De plus, il est recommand\u00e9 de nettoyer les coussinets des animaux lors du retour afin d\u2019\u00e9viter les blessures.<\/li><li><h5><strong>Offrir un bon abri aux animaux vivant \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur<\/strong><\/h5>Pour ce qui est des animaux qui vivent \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, il est important de leur fournir un endroit sec, isol\u00e9 et \u00e0 l\u2019abri des intemp\u00e9ries dans lequel ils pourront se r\u00e9fugier. Il est aussi important que ceux-ci aient acc\u00e8s \u00e0 de l\u2019eau (non-gel\u00e9e) et de la nourriture.<\/li><li><h5><strong>Identifier l\u2019animal<\/strong><\/h5>Si votre animal sort de la maison, il est fortement recommand\u00e9 d\u2019identifier celui-ci \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un m\u00e9daillon. En effet, si votre b\u00eate devait s\u2019\u00e9garer par m\u00e9garde en p\u00e9riode de grand froid et qu\u2019il est retrouv\u00e9 par une personne, celle-ci pourra contacter la SPA qui pourra vous contacter \u00e0 son tour afin que votre animal rentre sain et sauf \u00e0 la maison.<\/li><li><h5><strong>Aider les autres animaux<\/strong><\/h5>Pour finir, il est aussi important de penser aux animaux sans foyer en cette p\u00e9riode de grand froid. Cela signifie donc de v\u00e9rifier votre v\u00e9hicule avant de partir pour \u00eatre certain qu\u2019aucun animal ne s\u2019est cach\u00e9 o\u00f9 les pneus afin de profiter de la chaleur de votre moteur.
